We will need a doctors release. Please bring this with you to your appointment.

IF YOU ARE NOT TRUTHFUL IN ANSWERING THE ABOVE QUESTIONS AND WE SCHEDULE YOU AN APPOINTMENT AND FIND OUT THAT YOU ARE NOT A GOOD CANDIDATE, YOU WILL BE BILLED FOR THE APPOINTMENT TIME & FORFEIT ANY DEPOSIT PAID.

STEPHANIE HAS PROFESSIONAL REASONING AS TO WHY SHE CHOOSES NOT TO WORK ON CLIENTS WITH THE ABOVE MENTIONED CONTRAINDICATIONS.  THERE ARE TECHNICIANS THAT WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN, SHE'S NOT ONE OF THEM.

SOME OTHER CONSIDERATIONS:

*Type 1 diabetic (Doctors release needed before appoinement)

*Any Type of heart condition, Mitral valve, Prolapsed valve etc.. (Doctors release needed before appointment)

*Are you required to take antibiotics before seeing a dentist? (Doctors release needed before appointment)

*Currently using Retin-A around the brow area? (Cannot be using 6 weeks before appointment)

*Cannot have had Botox in the brow area 2 weeks prior or 2 weeks post procedure. (please consider that if you come in having had botox somewhat recently your shape and face is altered because of the botox. Stephanie draws on a shape that is symmetrical based off of the day you come in. When the botox wears off you run the risk of your permanent cosmetics being uneven. If this is a concern to you then you will want to have your permanent cosmetics done prior to recieving any botox.)

*Have you had a recent chemical peel? If it was a strong chemical peel you will need to wait 6 weeks before having any permanent cosmetic procedures done.

*Have you recently had your brows tinted? (Stephanie will match your coloring based off of your brow hair color. If they are tinted then there is no way for her to see your natural coloring. If you choose to commit to maintaining the tinted brow color then we can proceed with the procedure and match the color to the tinted brow hair. If you do not wish to maintain tinting them then you will need to wait until the color has worn off and it is back to your natural brow hair color.

Other requirements to consider:

EXERCISE?

If you work out regularly (5-7 days a week), your eyebrows WILL fade very fast due to the production of salt . Salt is in sweat which can pull out your color.  Exercise is not allowed for the first 7 days of healing. If these rules are not followed there may be an additional charge for additional sessions that are needed. They WILL appear more powdered or blurred under the skin as well. If you are not ok with this, then you should not have the procedure done. Stephanie reserves the right to refuse future services if she feels the results wont be to the clients satisfaction.

TAN?

YOU CANNOT HAVE A TAN 15 DAYS BEFORE & ABSOLUTELY NO SUN 15 BEFORE AND 15 DAYS AFTER (This means you cannot go out in sun with a hat and glasses on, this means no SUN or HEAT FOR 15 days AFTER at all. If you resume tanning, the results will fade quickly, heal darker, fade super fast or not retain at all. If you ruin the results by going out in the sun too soon there will be an additional charge for any additional required appointments.

TAN SKIN BLEEDS, HEALS POORLY AND COLORS WILL NOT HEAL PROPERLY.  NO EXCEPTIONS.

Things to consider before your appointment:

You may come with our without makeup on before your appointment. It is easiest for Stephanie to get a good visual of how you like to wear your makeup. So either come with your makeup on or bring a picture of how you like to wear it. This helps put both of you on the same page.

Remember, no two sides of the face are the same.  Perfection is our goal, but, note that nothing is PERFECT. We try to make them as symmetrical as we can. We measure and mark to try to get them as symmetrical as we can.

The Shape is drawn on before making anything permanent. This is the time to SPEAK UP and make sure that you love the shape Stephanie has drawn on for you. Once the shape is approved of then she will follow that template to a T.

It is very important to make sure that you express any shape/ color changes that you wish to have made in the first and second session. If a 3rd session is required to make last min changes there will be an additional charge.

A lot of times clients come in wanting light and conservative because they are nervous when this is not how they are normally wearing their makeup every day. Once they see the results and feel more comfortable then they like to go darker and thicker. This is all ok and we understand that some want to start out conservative. Just please be aware that if significant changes are made in the second session this will result in needing a third session. There will be an additional charge for any sessions after the first two sessions.

Plan on your appointment taking around an hour-hour and a half.

Aftercare Instructions:

General Rules

EXERCISE

Sweat produces salt and salt is used to remove permanent makeup. You will not be able to work out 5 days after the procedure. Once everything is healed you may continue normal work out routine.

YOU CANNOT HAVE A TAN 15 DAYS BEFORE & ABSOLUTELY NO SUN 11 DAYS AFTER. If you resume tanning, the results will fade quickly, heal darker, fade super fast or not retain at all.

Some residual swelling is normal for ALL procedures.  Most swelling occurs on day 1-3  A needle was placed in your skin, there WILL be swelling, how much is individualized. For the brow procedure usually there is very minimal swelling.

The area may appear uneven, dry, itchy, tender, red & irritated. This is all 100% normal.  DO NOT PICK.   These symptoms will dissipate each day and vary on an individual basis.

Color WILL fade/soften anywhere from 10% to 50% or more after a 5-7 day time frame.  At the touch up we will fine tune any area that has faded too much.  Healing is specific to each client. Once your procedure has healed you are allowed to wear makeup on top of your permanent cosmetics if it is needed.

It is important to realize that you will need a color boost every 1-3 yrs to maintain it's fresh natural appearance.  Fading WILL happen after each procedure.  We do not have control over your bodies healing process.

If you are out in the sun a lot, have oily skin, use anti-aging creams, retinA/retinol products, acidic cleansers, natural elements, regular chemical peels, or exercise frequently, your permanent makeup WILL fade prematurely.  The better you take care of the treated area and follow the provided aftercare, the longer it will last.

Permanent Makeup is an art, NOT a science.  Clients results will vary and using a pencil or powder may or may not still be needed.

Remember, no two sides of the face are the same.  Perfection is our goal, but, note that nothing is PERFECT. We try to make them as symmetrical as we can. It is important to make sure that you express any shape changes that you wish to have made in the first and second session. If a 3rd session is required to make last min changes there will be an additional charge.

Avoid lotions, cleansers, creams on the treated area for 5 days.

You will keep a thin layer of aquaphor on the treated area for 5 days.

No Sun, Sweating, Exercise or Exertion of any kind after the procedure for 5 days.

Avoid direct shower water on the treated area after the procedure.  Absolutely NOTHING on the treated area.. no makeup, lotions, pencil....etc. for 5 days....Avoid scrubbing the treated area for at least 10 days.

No swimming until the area is completely healed, salt water/chlorine WILL cause the pigments to fade or change in color.

Only touch the treated areas with squeaky clean hands during the healing process.

DO NOT RUB, SCRATCH OR PICK AT THE TREATED AREA. Let any scabbing, flaking or dry skin naturally exfoliate off. Picking can cause scarring or infection.

Plan on scheduling your second session within the first 6-8 weeks.

There is NO GUARANTEE'S made as to the final outcome.  Your skin, lifestyle and after care play a huge roll in YOUR results. EVERYONE heals differently.

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THIS IS AN INVESTMENT... ON YOUR FACE AND THE AFTER CARE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THE PROCEDURE. THANKS!!
